I stayed up late last night hoping to snag some Prabal Gurung for Target pieces online, and I’m glad I did. The collection started to pop up on Target.com around 1 am central time, and I had no trouble purchasing all of my favorite pieces.
I still woke up and drove to my local Target when they opened at 8 am. I was expecting a scene similar to Jason Wu, with a handful of excited customers waiting to shop the collection. Instead, surprisingly, it was just me. And then, even more surprisingly, the selection available was really weak and it wasn’t even easy to find. The displays seemed to be kind of an afterthought. I am so glad I ordered online, otherwise I would have missed out. I might stop by another Target this afternoon to see if the selection is better. I’d like to check out the floral shorts and try on the blazer to see if it fits well.
