Recently I happened upon the sale of a lifetime at Gigi of Mequon, a high-end boutique in Milwaukee’s northern suburbs. I saw a post on their Facebook page advertising a designer cocktail blowout sale, with Herve Leger, Temperley London, Carolina Herrera, etc. dresses for $100. I was skeptical, but I figured I’d kick myself if I missed out so I woke up early the next morning and drove up there.
Turns out, the sale was real and as advertised. Granted, selection was limited but I scored majorly. Two Carolina Herrera dresses, one short and one long, both $100. The gown was originally $4,000!
I’ll show you the gown in an upcoming blog post. I haven’t worn it yet but I’ll try it on for a picture. I did wear the short purple dress out for my birthday dinner at Ristorante Bartolotta on Wednesday. Happy birthday to me!
